Pug Pup doesn't bake as often as TeaCup Pup. She seems to have developed her own way of making pies…
The past month has been overtly filled with family and friend based activities, so I’m posting this comic to Substack a bit later than usual. I am still, however, posting to the Princess Pups site first when I have a new comic or coloring pages, so you can always check there :)
Speaking of coloring pages, last month I was fixated on pies and did two Princess Pups coloring pages with so many pies. My image search that lived in my browser tab was taunting me with the pies I was referencing for drawing that I was not eating. Sadness! We did manage to get a delicious chocolate pie with meringue during Thanksgiving though, so that helped.
Our first page has Scruffy Pup floating in a magical free fall surrounded by lots of different pies!
I was indecisive for what to draw for the second coloring page, starting with two different ideas centered around TeaCup Pup putting on her chef’s baking hat to make pies. Finally, I decided on TeaCup Pup using her magic wand to slide out and serve an array of pies to Pug Pup! Pug Pup is, of course, excited by this development.
It was after drawing that second coloring page that I remembered I had a comic idea stuffed in my sketchbook related to Pug Pup trying to bake pies. So I fished it out and fine-tuned it for the latest comic.
This is the page for this month’s timelapse specifically because I forgot that I had started sketching two ideas and then abandoned them…but the timelapse did not forget! They happen in the first second of this brief timelapse if you can spot them.
Don’t forget that there’s piles of Princess pups comics and coloring pages to keep yourself (or some bored kids on a winter break?) entertained for hours on the Princess Pups website!
