I've never tried ice fishing before, but I'm fairly certain that Pug Pup caught something that usually isn't in a frozen lake!
When I originally published this comic on the Princess Pups website, it was the evening before we were meant to get snowfall. In St. Louis, the running joke is “Someone said there may be snow, so everyone will run to the grocery and buy out all of the eggs, bread, and milk.” (Which, I did do, and yes, we did have French Toast for breakfast the next day)
However, this time we actually did receive pretty significant snowfall, between 6 to 8 inches or so. We used the first day for sledding. We were only outside for a bit before quickly heading back due to the utter coldness. The amount of snowfall plus ice conditions did extend my kiddo’s Christmas Break by three additional days.

I try to make sure it’s not nearly as gray when coloring Princess Pups comics that involve snow. Here’s another fun snow related comic, which also happens to feature TeaCup Pup and Pug Pup! And if it’s too cold to go outside where you live at the moment, there’s also several winter themed coloring pages to choose from on the Princess Pups site!

Even the fish wants pizza! That made me LAUGH! But I still feel sorry for Tea Cup Pup. Thanks a lot for the great entertainment.
